Anwar Louw:

I am the owner and head physiotherapist at Anwar Louw Physiotherapy. I have been a qualified physiotherapist for more than five years. In this time, I have gained general and sports-specific physiotherapy experience.

I have worked with professional athletes as a physiotherapist, at teams like Orlando Pirates FC, Milano United FC and Vasco da Gama FC. I currently work with Showtime Management to provide my services to performers in their theatre and entertainment productions. To date I have worked on shows such as "Disney on Ice", "Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre Company" and “Priscilla Queen of The Desert”, to mention a few. I am also associated with the Rondebosch Boys’ High School rugby program by providing physiotherapy services to their junior sides.

In addition to my physiotherapy experience, I have more than 10 years of experience in elite level sports.  I obtained my South African colours as a junior in swimming.  During my studies I sometimes provided strength and conditioning training to my university’s swimming team and also served as a swimming coach.

My aim is to use my extensive experience and knowledge to provide you, the client, with high-quality physiotherapy services and to ensure that you return to living your fullest life without having to worry about any injury problems.
